As for my personal journey, I began working at a women’s fitness center at the reception desk. I was experiencing my own weight gain, depression and disconnection from who I was and how I was living.  During this time, I became pregnant. When my daughter was 3 months old, I had an ‘aha’ moment and decided I was ready to change my life. 

I began working out and a chain reaction began.  My physical body changed, but most importantly, so did my mindset and my overall mood! Shortly after my success, I was encouraged by my co-workers to become a Certified Personal Trainer and then I went back to college at George Mason University to finish my degree. 

My daughter is now 17 years old and continues to inspire me to be a more authentic version of myself that is curious about life and all it has to offer! 

As I continue to evolve, I have invested in personal transformation through mindfulness, meditation and yoga practices. These practices have helped foster a deeper sense of purpose, joy and contentment.
