I believe that life is a collection of moments and change is inevitable. Every moment is a significant piece of our journey and we can choose to embrace change or resist change. There is an empowerment that comes from embracing change and supporting ourselves fully…physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
I have a passion for meeting people where they are and letting them be the driver on their journey. I am like the GPS and offer a variety of ways for people to get to their destination. I feel blessed to be a part of the support team that helps people thrive and transform! My hope is that people appreciate their body for the amazing masterpiece it is and foster more self-compassion and healthy space to support their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
Change begins with awareness and quite often resistance comes first!
One of my favorite recent shares from a client is a quote:
“When choosing a new habit many people seem to ask themselves, ‘What can I do on my best days?’ The trick is to ask, ‘What can I stick to even on my worst days?’ Start small. Master the art of showing up. Scale up when you have the time, energy and interest.” James Clear
My intention is to:
- Provide a safer space for all ‘bodies’
- Meet people where they are
- Empower people to experience their daily life with ease, decreased pain and increased strength
- Encourage people to cultivate a deeper understanding of their body & how to care for their body at any stage of life
- Support people as they explore creating a mindfulness toolbox
Unique ways I support others:
- Encouraging a pace that allows people to explore their present body, mind & heart
- Holding space for people to make a choice about how to care for themselves in the moment
- Supporting people as they notice the stories they tell themselves about their health & their journey
- Keeping my hands to myself unless someone requests a hands on assist
- Offering in person, online or recordings
Some of the ‘conditions’ I have worked with:
- Joint: osteoarthritis, tendonitis, replacements, hips, knees, ankles, toes, shoulders, elbows, wrists & more
- Spine: scoliosis, stenosis, disc herniations, fusions & more
- Pelvis: rotation, organ prolapse, pelvic floor imbalances
- Autoimmune: rheumatoid arthritis, gut, thyroid & more
- Nerve: Parkinson’s, trigenimal neuralgia, fibromyalgia, shingles, sciatica & more
- Heart: stroke, arrhythmias, heart attack
